In-House Camera Operator
The role

We are seeking a talented In-House Camera Operator to join our dynamic team and help bring our vision to life through the lens. As a key member of our production crew, you will play a crucial role in capturing high-quality footage for a variety of projects, from documentaries to promotional videos. Your responsibilities
Camera operations
Operate professional camera equipment to capture high-quality video footage, ensuring proper framing, composition, and focus.
Adjust camera settings, such as exposure, shutter speed, and aperture, to achieve the desired visual style.
Collaborate closely with the director and cinematographer to bring their vision to life.
Equipment Maintenance
Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all camera gear and accessories.
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine equipment checks to prevent downtime.
Collaboration
Work closely with the production team to execute the creative vision, including lighting, framing, and camera movement.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations on set.
Quality Control
Review and assess footage for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments during shoots.
Requirements
Proven experience as a camera operator, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in operating a range of professional camera equipment (e.g., DSLRs, cinema cameras).
Technical knowledge of camera settings and cinematic techniques.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional requirements
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as production schedules demand.
Physical ability to handle and transport camera equipment.
Willingness to travel for on-location shoots if required.
