The role

We are looking for a talented Assistant Editor to join our team on-site, to contribute to the creation of captivating content. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our videos are accessible to a global audience through accurate subtitles, while also enhancing the emotional impact of our content through thoughtful music selection and integration. Your responsibilities

Subtitle Creation and Editing

• Generate accurate subtitles for videos, ensuring proper timing, grammar, and readability.

• Review and revise subtitles based on feedback and quality standards.

• Ensure subtitles are culturally sensitive and relevant to our diverse audience.

Music Selection and Integration

• Collaborate with the creative team to select music that enhances the emotional impact of our videos.

• Edit and integrate music seamlessly into the video, considering pacing, mood, and narrative.

Quality Control

• Conduct thorough quality checks on final content to ensure that subtitles and music are synchronized, error-free, and meet industry standards.

Communication and Collaboration

• Work closely with editors, producers, and other team members to achieve the desired audiovisual results.

• Communicate effectively with remote team members if working in a remote capacity.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro) for subtitle and music integration.

• Must have experience editing "Real-Life" content.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in subtitling and music selection/editing is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
